Come join Chef Anne Hynes and celebrate the bright flavours of Japanese Izakaya -light and fresh, big and bold, highly addictive comforting favourites. Tonight we make small plates of bold flavours beginning with Spicy Edamame (with Togarashi and Maldon Salt); Pork Gyoza with dipping sauce; Sunomono; Inarizushi with Shiso and Sesame Seeds (rice with shiso and sesame in seasonal tofu pockets); Nasu Dengaku Eggplant (Caramelized Miso glazed Eggplant); Tonkatsu (breaded pork cutlet) with comforting Vegetable curry and a luscious toasty Hojicha Panna Cotta with Maple Syrup and Hazelnuts to end our evening.
Wine is included in the price of class. Wine pairings are provided by our resident wine expert, Amy McIntyre. With advanced notice we are also happy to provide non-alcoholic craft wine for your enjoyment.
If you have food sensitivities or dietary restrictions please check with your local Cookery location, before registration. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.
Cookery maintains an optional masking policy, you are not required to wear one during the class, however if you feel more comfortable with one please bring one.
