Have you wondered what a honing steel is? Let Chef Anne Hynes help you sharpen your knife skills and learn what the hardest working tool in your kitchen can do. You will practice the correct grip, how to slice, brunoise, chiffonade and more with expert guidance, learn about knife maintenance and curate your own collection according to your cooking needs. Together we will make Bruschetta with fresh Garlicky Tomatoes and Basil; Citrus Garlic Chicken, Mediterranean vegetables, Feta, Olives and Herbs; Herbed Rice Pilaf; Crisp Salad with Shallot Honey Vinaigrette; Citrus with Orange Flower Water, Honey, Bay Syrup and Halva.
Wines are paired by Amy McIntrye, our wine enthusiast and available for purchase by glass. With advance notice we are also happy to provide non-alcoholic craft wine for purchase for your enjoyment.

Cookery maintains an optional masking policy, you are not required to wear one during the class, however if you feel more comfortable with one please bring one.
