Bouilloire Breville Soft Top™ Pure

Great kettle, well designed and very functional

This is a replacement for the same make and model, which lasted about 5 years. This version is inferior to that previous version because (1) previous version had light at fill line to see how much water was in the kettle and the light also looked nice (2) this version I have to hit the ON switch just right to get it to turn on whereas the previous version had a solid “click” in place to turn on. Now I have to hit ON many times without bumping it again when I pull my hand away to get it to turn on. It does the job of boiling water quickly, but for the differences to previous version and my expectation that I’ll need to replace it again in 5 years with a subsequently more inferior version, this brand has become overpriced, even on sale.

Friendly, efficient service. Thanks

After my first Breville electric kettle ended its life, I was so glad to have found the same model. This is my second Breville electric kettle. I love the look of the kettle and the way it boils water.
