The Ultimate Ranch Barbecue Tofu Cobb Salad
A fresh, flavour-packed plant-based Cobb salad loaded with smoky barbecue tofu, creamy ranch dressing, crisp vegetables, and vibrant toppings.

4 large salads
Step 1 — Prepare the Dressing & Vegan Fet
For the best flavour, prepare the Ranch Buttermilk Dressing and Vegan Feta Cheese ahead of time. Letting them rest helps the flavours develop beautifully.
Step 2 — Make the Barbecue Tofu
Press the tofu for at least 30 minutes to remove excess moisture.
Coat the tofu in barbecue sauce, then roast until crispy, chewy, and caramelized around the edges.
The smoky barbecue tofu is what gives this salad its bold, hearty flavour.
Step 3 — Prep the Fresh Vegetables
Chop and prepare:
- Romaine lettuce
- Mini cucumbers
- Cherry or grape tomatoes
- Avocado
- Green onions
Arrange everything separately for easy assembly.
Step 4 — Build the Salad
Divide the romaine between four bowls.
Top with rows of:
- Cucumbers
- Tomatoes
- Avocado
- Green onions
- Vegan feta
- Warm barbecue tofu
The layered presentation makes the salad feel colourful, fresh, and restaurant-worthy.
Step 5 — Finish & Serve
Drizzle generously with Ranch Buttermilk Dressing.
For extra flavour, add an additional drizzle of barbecue sauce over top before serving.
Serve immediately and enjoy a salad that’s crunchy, creamy, smoky, fresh, and satisfying enough for dinner.
