Works great but plates get stuck

Hi, we are really enjoying having a potato ricer. Finally! It works well, ie easy to wash in the D/W, and is so easy to get a beautifully smooth mash. The only snag is that after each compression we have to ply apart the two plates as they get stuck together. Perhaps there’s a quick solution to this very minor problem. Otherwise it is working very nicely.
