Returns of New and Unused items
HOLIDAY EXTENDED RETURN POLICY
For the holidays, anything purchased after November 15, 2022 can be exchanged or returned for a credit note through January 7, 2023 with an original or gift receipt (conditions apply see below).
Boxing Day Sale. Sale not applicable to cooking classes, gift cards, and knife sharpening. Cannot be combined with any other offer. No price adjustments will be made on purchases placed before 10am on Tuesday, December 27th.
We want you to be totally satisfied with your purchase and we understand that you may purchase, or receive an item as a gift, and this item just isn’t right for you.
If that's the case, we are pleased to offer exchange, store credit, or refund on unused, re-saleable products, in original packaging within 14 days of purchase.
Exemptions: Sale items, Holiday-themed items, perishable goods such as oils, extracts, herbs and spices are final sale and cannot be returned. Returns with a gift receipt will be eligible for a store credit and/or exchange only.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Cancellation prior to receiving your Online Purchase Item:
We understand that 'online ordering accidents' happen and minds can change. If you would like to cancel an order that has already been placed but has not been shipped, please call 416-763-5833 between 9am and 4pm to immediately cancel your order. Once you have received a confirmation that your order is cancelled prior to shipping, you will receive a store credit for the full value of your item.
As a small business, we incur non-refundable payment processing fees for every cancelled order. If you wish to cancel your order, we offer only a store credit at full value. If you would prefer a refund, we can offer only the original purchase price and shipping fees less a 5% cancellation fee to cover non-refundable expenses incurred.
Mail-In Returns of New Items
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm your item is eligible for a return. This notification must be within 14 days of purchase, be a regularly priced item, be non-seasonal, unused, in original packaging, and in resaleable condition.
To return your product once you've received acknowledgement to do so, please mail your product to:

Attention: Cookery Returns
Please include a copy of your proof of purchase. You will be responsible for paying all shipping costs associated with the return of your item.
If you are shipping an item over $75, please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Please pack your item carefully as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your package in good condition. Only products returned to us in original packaging, unused and in saleable condition are eligible for return.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you that we have received your returned item and whether the item has been approved for return. If approved, your refund or store credit will be processed.
Returns of Used items
We will gladly take back any item that has a manufacturer’s defect unless the manufacturer has an explicit policy about their returns. In these cases, we will assist where possible, guiding you through the process to follow directly with the manufacturer. This includes items from Wusthof, KitchenAid, All-Clad, Le Creuset, and others.
