I love my Lomi!

This solves several problems. Makes me really think about food waste. Helps me focus on better organization in fridge, and more room in freezer as I control food waste odour by freezing it. Great for garden. Lighter green bin (no more struggling to drag bin to road especially in winter) and no rodents attracted to compost.

Lomi has been suprising

We were skeptical that Lomi could convert food waste into dirt in as little as four hours. We were surprised that it actually could. Our only negative surprise was when, on one occasion, we were unable to close and lock the lid. We soon realized that the gear on the bottom of the bucket must mesh properly with the gear that's below it.

We live in a condo, and are delighted to be able to avoid putting food waste in the regular garbage. The Lomi-dirt is for our balcony garden. Definitely a win-win scenario.
