I love The Cookery, but this product is terrible

Unfortunately, it is not sized properly, so screwing it on mason jars to get an effective seal is very problematic. I've ruined many rings trying to screw it on, and many times have had messy leaks dribbling down the jar, or my arm. Cookery is a great store, but this product is doing it a disservice. We have two of these products, and both demonstrate the same problems.
